"They are three deserved and hard-earned points," a relieved Donadoni told reporters following the end of a difficult run of form.

"The boys reacted in the best possible way, we haven't resolved everything instantly but this is the attitude we need to have from start to finish and then we will get our reward.
"This team didn't deserve recent results and this result partly makes up for it, but we still have a lot to do."
Bologna next host Chievo before a trip to Fiorentina following the upcoming international break.
