Roberto Donadoni was proud after Parma fought back to beat Fulham at Craven Cottage. “It’s good for self-esteem.”

The Ducali had gone behind in the London friendly, but Gabriel Paletta and Nicola Sansone completed the comeback for a 2-1 victory.

“It was a good performance against Fulham, who are at a more advanced stage of pre-season preparation,” said the Coach. “Victories like this are above all good for self-esteem.

“We are happy to have ended pre-season unbeaten. Apart from Fulham’s goal, they created very little and we had several scoring opportunities against an important team. I liked the spirit with which we played.

“Mattia Cassani made a good debut, showing already how his versatility will prove useful. As for Antonio Cassano, in recent years he hasn’t really had pre-season training, which can make a huge difference. Now he needs the determination to rediscover his form.”
