“The team must not get too ahead of itself or too depressed based on one result to the next. Every week we must have the right concepts, improving and stabilising them, making them second nature.

“We are in a situation in the table that won’t allow us to let go by one inch and tomorrow’s game will put us to the test in that sense.

“Details make the difference at this level and we have to work in order to ensure they go our way. At Marassi we’re meeting a Genoa side who represent a tough prospect and will be extremely determined, because they didn’t expect to be this low down the table.”
