Roberto Donadoni had a splendid Parma debut, but asks them for “more determination” in this morning’s Emilia-Romagna derby against Bologna.

The Coach replaced Franco Colomba and introduced himself to the fans with a 3-1 victory over Siena.

“I saw Bologna put in a good performance against Napoli last week. We are therefore facing a team in great shape, so I urge Parma to play with more determination,” said Donadoni ahead of the 11.30 UK time kick-off.

“A local derby is always a special game and of course we all want to do well. It requires a positive approach, though. I wouldn’t be content starting out with a draw.”

The Ducali signed Jonathan on loan from Inter, though he is not yet ready to take part at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

“Jonathan is seeking match fitness and therefore undergoing a specific training schedule. I am counting on him being ready for next week.”
