The Rossoblu fell to a surprise defeat at Frosinone in midweek, and the Coach expects another tough test when the Viola come calling.

“We’re coming off a defeat where an incident didn’t go in our favour,” Donadoni explained in his pre-match Press conference.

“It was a game we played in the right way, but it’s a closed chapter now. Now we’re waiting for Fiorentina, a great opponent with absolutely top-class potential.

“We know we have to put in a good performance, even though a lot of our players are not at 100 per cent physically.

“In these kind of situations, in difficulty, you see the strength of the group and it’ll give me material for further evaluation in the future.

“We’re a team that always puts in a lot of running, and we’re going into our third game in a week, so I hope my lads will be able to express themselves well.

“From the point of view of the data, when we run more we get positive results, so I hope we can recover quickly.”
