“Verona is a great city with so much enthusiasm for this team,” he told a Press conference. “This is the right place for me.

“I know the deal was completed right at the last minute, so I’m thankful it went well.

“An agreement was found half an hour before the end of the window and I accepted without even asking about the money.

“I really want to return to playing and I hope I can do that here.”
