“We’re facing a great team, one which is fighting in Italy to reach the Champions League places.

“They have a squad which is of a high level, so they’ll come here to win on Thursday night. Lazio are favourites, but we’ll try to take our chance and play for qualification.

“What’s important is to leave the pitch with our heads held high after the two games. Lazio will take the game seriously, they won’t be coming here thinking about the three matches in a row they lost.

“I hope we can get a first win over a team from the Italian league. I hope the lads will have a good attitude, they’ll need to be aggressive, keep the team compact and surprise the opponent.

“We’ll need to play a perfect defensive game to keep them out. It’s important that our chances are still alive after tomorrow’s match.”
