Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a bid for midfielder Amadou Diawara, it’s reported, with Lucas Torreira as his replacement.
The Corriere dello Sport newspaper claims that Spurs are won over by Diawara and are determined to get him for next season.
Still only 20 years old, Napoli paid €14.5m to get the Guinean from Bologna in the summer of 2016.
He has struggled for playing time so far this term, managing one goal and one assist in 24 competitive matches.

Napoli have already planned for the future, as they intend to sell Diawara and use the money to buy out Uruguay international Torreira’s release clause from Sampdoria.
The cost of that operation would be €25m.
