The 34-year-old is being tipped with a switch back to his homeland given his current contract situation in Rome.
However, speaking with Il Messaggero, the centre-back has committed his future to the Stadio Olimpico side.
“A return to Brazil? It is a lie. I’ve never thought or said anything like that,” stated the former Sao Paulo stopper.
“If that question was asked to me a few years ago then I would have probably said yes, but I’m happy in Rome and my son has asked me to stay – and my family is the most important thing for me.
“I not only want to stay, but I want to win with Lazio.”
Dias, signed in the summer of 2010, had a problematic campaign in the capital last season given his fitness struggles.
“I still have a year left on my contract, I love the fans and I’ll never stop thanking the club for giving me so much,” he added.
“I want to end my career here. Seeing as I didn’t play in the manner that I knew how over the last few months, I’m training like mad in order to show the fans the real Dias next season.”
