Bologna won’t consider the future of Alessandro Diamanti until they have confirmed their Serie A status.

The Italian international is set to be a wanted man on the transfer market, with Inter just one of the clubs keen on his services.

“We won’t think about the transfer market until we have made sure that we have avoided relegation,” director general Roberto Zanzi told calciomercato.it.

“Once we’ve achieved that objective then we’ll start thinking about our options, but we are not thinking about them today.

“We’ve certainly been contacted by clubs regarding the availability of Diamanti, but there are a lot of rumours doing the rounds too.”

The former West Ham player, a 29-year-old attacking midfielder, has scored seven goals in 25 games this season.
