According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Di Natale will put pen to paper on a contract until June 2014 at some stage next month.
Di Natale, signed in 2004 from Empoli” data-scaytid=”23″>Empoli, is currently committed to the Stadio Friuli outfit for another 12 months.
The veteran will turn 35 in October and he’s been linked with a possible lucrative move abroad with clubs in the United Arab Emirates, as well as Zenit, interested.
The latter are bossed by Luciano Spalletti, a tactician who has worked with Di Natale in the past.
