Udinese striker Antonio Di Natale has dedicated his equalising goal against Bologna on Sunday to the fans.

The 35-year-old bagged his seventh goal of the season yesterday at Renato Dall'Ara, and has thanked the fans, as well as the club's medical team for their support.

“It was a beautiful moment to score against a great Bologna team,” he told the club's official website. “We tried to win the game, but failed to do so by the closest of margins.

“I want to dedicate this to our fans who have followed us en masse. I also want to say thank you to the medical staff – it is only because of them that I was able to play at all. I overcame the pan my ankle and tried to give my best.”

He also commented on whether he would be available for Thursday's Europa League match with Young Boys.

“Will I be on the field? You'll have to ask the Coach. We have to win against Young Boys if we want to lead the way in the group.”
