“Chievo proved in recent years that they know how to get back on their feet during difficult moments and are accustomed to staying in the top flight,” said Di Francesco.
“It will be a sporting battle where we must put all of our quality on to the pitch. Chievo are used to this type of challenge and have players of the calibre of Paloschi and Maxi Lopez.
“I am more worried about how my own team will play, though. We are fighting for our Serie A safety and need points. With a run of results we could gain confidence, but all this requires humility.
“Let us not forget we have 10 points under our belts, but we need 40 as soon as possible to avoid relegation.”
