A contract renewal seems certain after he had been linked with positions at Sampdoria, Empoli and Fiorentina.
“We suffered more than we should’ve done this season due to various problems, but I am happy with what the team did and am sure we’ll put in a final great performance for our fans.
“The objective was to secure safety comfortably and we did that. I’d give our campaign 7.5 out of 10. I am very satisfied.”
