“Pellissier? It’s disappointing that we won’t have our captain on the field, but he fires the team up every day,” the Coach said at a Press conference, with his side nine points adrift ahead of the Week 23 fixture.

“The newcomers? If we had 22-23 points it would be different, but given our position in the table I have to look at who’s doing well and figure out who’s best.

“Schelotto could play from the start, while the others could come on later. Chievo are a team who fight and provoke emotion.

“We’re a team who are out there, who are present. We must go for broke, but I’m convinced we’ll save ourselves because we’ve played well in recent games.

“Our fans will come to the stadium and watch a team who don’t give up an inch.”
