Italy Under-21 boss Luigi Di Biagio has claimed his side are ‘obliged’ to try and beat Belgium next week.

The Azzurini travel to Genk to face the Belgians in their third qualifying match for Euro 2015, and the Coach has claimed that his team are getting nearer to where he wants them to be.

“We are obliged to go and win,” he told Corriere dello Sport. “Especially after last month’s defeat [at home to Belgium].

“The most important thing though, is not to lose our style. We are trying to build a team and will keep reviewing and improving the group.

“Don’t forget that the group is starting a new cycle. That’s not an excuse though. We have to have a positive attitude.

“I am convinced of the quality at my disposal. We have all the means to qualify for the European championships.”
