Siena boss Giuseppe Sannino isn’t surprised by the transfer interest in Italian Under-21 international Mattia Destro.
The forward, who was cut from Italy’s Euro 2012 squad yesterday, is a confirmed target for both Inter and Juventus, amongst other interested parties.
“Destro is a real talent already, but I think he can improve even more,” Sannino, who is close to a Palermo move, told Calcio News 24 on Wednesday.
“Whoever gets hold of him will have a rough diamond in their possession, one that could turn into a real gem.
“Nevertheless, he’s already good enough to be part of a big club.”
Destro is co-owned between Siena and Genoa, but the latter are set to take full control of his registration before selling him on.
