The Siena striker has been paired with a future move to Turin and he’s welcomed the transfer speculation.

“It’s pleasing to be liked by Juventus,” the Italian Under-21 international told the Corriere dello Sport.

“As a kid I was a big fan of theirs, but for now I am just concentrating on doing well for Siena.”

The forward, who will turn 21 in March, joined the Tuscan club on loan in the summer from Genoa, but with an obligation to buy 50 per cent of his contract in the summer.

“Things are changing in Italian football,” the former Inter youngster continued. “There seems to be more faith in young players.

“My role models? Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marco Borriello of Juventus.”

In 15 Serie A games this season, 12 of which he started, he has scored five goals.
