Atalanta forward German Denis has revealed that he wants to get to 20 goals by the end of the season.

The Argentine striker is currently on 15 goals for La Dea, but the 31-year-old won't be able to add to his tally this weekend against Genoa after being sent off last time versus Fiorentina.

“I felt bad after getting the red card,” he told the club's official website. “It will only take a few points to mathematically stay up, and I'm sure the boys will do well without me on Saturday.

“This year it will be difficult to reach 20 goals, but it is something I want to try and do.

“I am feeling good and I have been working hard to be fit for the final stages of the season.”
