Fiorentina patron Diego Della Valle is considering taking the club outside of Florence following difficulties in getting planning permission for a new ground within the city.
The Della Valle family saw their Cittadella project blocked by the local authority earlier this year, putting Fiorentina back to square one.
"We are thinking about taking Fiorentina to play away from Florence," he said.
"It's necessary to have your own ground to be a strong and competitive team.
