“This was not the Verona we were accustomed to seeing. In order to go for safety, we have to get back to our old selves, be more positive and make more of our opportunities.
“This is a heavy blow for us, but we will fight to the bitter end. Unfortunately this game reflects our season, we were unlucky too.
“We must continue to believe while it’s mathematically possible to stay in Serie A. It’s always stressful to chase the result and we’ve been chasing for weeks.
“We always gave everything we had. It was a deserved defeat today, but I still believe we can do it.”
