Reports broke yesterday that the Rossoneri President had already decided to sell, but they were later denied by the club’s holding company Fininvest.

Corriere della Sera reports today that Berlusconi spoke with his children and other Fininvest directors on Tuesday evening about the potential sale.

The company will put together a dossier for the President to consider and he must decide by next Wednesday whether or not to sell to the Chinese investors.

The group interested in buying the club, whose identity remains unknown, want to close a deal quickly and began due diligence, the analysis of the club’s accounts, last week.

Berlusconi’s final decision is expected before next Wednesday, and he will meet Milan directors today at 3pm UK time to discuss the matter further.
