“My experience tells me you need to give the right meaning to the win over Inter,” said the Coach in his Press conference.
“There are sides like Cagliari that we cannot approach lightly. It is a very significant game for us, perhaps even more so than the Inter match. We must go in there with the same humility, same desire to help each other out, otherwise I will be furious.
“Cagliari had a bad day at the office when losing to Empoli, but we know what they are capable of. It’s rare you find weak opponents in Serie A, and the Sardinians have good individuals with a smart Coach in Rolando Maran, but the important thing is that we focus on ourselves.
“We mustn’t take the wrong attitude, I am very strict on that aspect. Errors can happen, but you cannot have the wrong approach to a game.
“There are two or three players who are struggling with fitness issues, so we’ll evaluate them. I don’t want to risk losing anyone for 20-25 days, so we won’t take unnecessary risks.”
