It’s widely expected that he’ll move to Inter on July 1, but the Dutch international is in no mood to discuss the rumours.
“I understand that you’re curious about that,” De Vrij told journalists from the Netherlands’ training camp.

“Now I just want to finish my season with Lazio in the best possible way, I’m with the national team now and I can’t respond to all the rumours which circulate in the media.
“Could I captain the national team? Who wouldn’t like that? It would be an honour. Once [Robin] Van Persie gave me the armband and I couldn’t believe it, but it really happened.”
