Rudi Garcia admits he won’t risk Daniele De Rossi for Roma against Barcelona if it could see him miss BATE Borisov.

The Giallorossi face a Champions League test against the holders at Camp Nou tomorrow, but the Frenchman feels the final group game will be more important.

“For Daniele, we’ll have to see how he is in training today,” Garcia admitted in his pre-match Press conference.

“He’s better, but I don’t want to risk him. The decisive match is the next one against Borisov.

“If I could lose Daniele for the next six games, then playing him tomorrow is a risk I'm obviously not going to take.”

Garcia has admitted that a draw with Luis Enrique’s side would be a good result, but insists his team will not simply look to frustrate Lionel Messi and co.

“We’ll have to be well-organised and exploit space. We can’t defend for the entire game or we’ll lose.

“We have to use our talented players to flick the switch when we have the chance. We come here with a lot of humilty, but we don’t start beaten.

“The 4-0 win over Real Madrid? We already knew they were a great team, but I don’t think they’re invincible, even they sometimes lose.

“There are no invincible teams. That’s the beauty of football, the less strong team on the field can win too. You need desire, but also luck.

“Tomorrow we’ll have to be perfect, we mustn’t go out thinking that we’ve already lost. We’ll have to play our game, like in the first leg [a 1-1 draw].”
