However, the club’s chief has revealed that the French youngster could arrive in January, whilst also ruling out a move for Javier Mascherano.
“Gonalons? His is a profile that may be of interest to us,” journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has reported him as saying.
“Mascherano? I can rule that. We’re not interested in him.”
