Charles De Ketelaere assures he is finding his form and is eager to repay the faith Milan have had in him as he starts against Fiorentina.

It kicks off at the Stadio Franchi at 19.45 GMT.

As Brahim Diaz is injured, with Rafael Leao and Rade Krunic suspended, De Ketelaere starts with Ante Rebic and Olivier Giroud upfront.

Milan fans dream that this will be the night the former Club Brugge talent finally scores his first goal for the club.

“I dream it is my night too. I want to help the team in the best way possible,” De Ketelaere told Sky Sport Italia in his first Italian interview.

“I had some difficult moments, but the last month I feel good, I try to help the squad and improve myself.”

Coach Stefano Pioli and director Paolo Maldini have repeatedly assured they will have the patience to wait for De Ketelaere to develop and deliver for Milan.

“I am glad they have faith in me and it’s up to me now to do what they believe I can do. I changed some things to feel better and they are starting to work.”

The switch to the 3-4-2-1 formation has perhaps helped De Ketelaere to have more of an impact, but he has missed some absolute sitters in recent games and is clearly lacking in confidence.
