The former Udinese Coach has made history with Albania, leading them to their first ever major tournament this summer at Euro 2016.
This achievement has ensured that his name has been linked to the Azzurri post, which will become vacant once Antonio Conte moves to Chelsea after this summer’s tournament.
“Any Italian Coach would like to hear their name being linked with the Italy job,” De Biasi told Il Messaggero.
“I’m Italian, I coach Albania, we’ll got to the Euros and we want to do as well as we can.
“After France? Never say never! I’m proud of what I’ve done in Italy and maybe I’ll have other Italian experiences.
“But let’s return to Albania: we’re going to France because we’re a team. We have individuality, but always within a team. And like this our strengths are multiplied. There’s no selfishness.
“We’re like the Leicester team of my friend [Claudio] Ranieri. Actually, we came first.
“Offers from Italian clubs? There was one, but I replied ‘Thank you, but I’m CT of Albania and we’re going to play in the Euros’”.
