The 23-year-old Swiss player felt an acute attack of appendicitis and went under the knife last night.
Curiously, Daprelà is the second Palermo player to have an operation for appendicitis this season.
Enzo Maresca was rushed to hospital for the same procedure in September and was out of action for over a month.
