Danilo D’Ambrosio would be ‘very happy to work with Luciano Spalletti again’ at Napoli, said the Inter defender’s agent.
Spalletti was formally appointed this morning to replace Gennaro Gattuso, signing a two-year contract.
This naturally prompted speculation that some of his former players would reunite with the coach at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
“D’Ambrosio would be very happy to work with Spalletti again,” agent Bruno Cirillo told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“I wish the coach all the very best in his new adventure with Napoli.”
Inter have parted company with Antonio Conte and brought in Simone Inzaghi from Lazio as his replacement.
