Inter are reportedly closing in on a double swoop for Dalbert and Karamoh, and Damiani – a renowned expert on the French transfer market – believes the Beneamata will have done good business by bringing in the Nice full-back and Caen attacker.

“Dalbert could be a left-footed Maicon,” he told Tuttosport.

“They have different physical characteristics, but Dalbert has good technique and a good left foot.

“He’s good at attacking, but he also knows how to defend and use his head.

“He’s a complete player thanks to Favre’s work at Nice, and if he goes to Inter, with a Coach like Spalletti, he’ll grow even more.

“I think Dalbert could be even more tailored to Italian football than Maicon was.

“Karamoh? He’s someone I know well, but I’m dealing with his transfer.

“Karamoh, despite being born in 1998, played nearly 30 League games and scored five goals for a struggling team like Caen last season.

“He has character and he’s a player who must grow, but he could learn from playing behind Candreva and Perisic.

“A loan? He had dozens of offers, most recently from Saint-Etienne, but he chose Inter to stay there.”
