Argentinian wonderkid Tomás Cuello admits interest from Inter – “it would be a dream to wear that shirt”.

The 18-year-old is currently playing for Atlético Tucumán, and has been called-up to the Argentinian Under-20 team in recent months.

“I like to play in a free role on the left,” Cuello told FCInterNews.

“I love going one against one, coming off the wing and getting goals. My main strength is being able to beat a man and score.

“My idol? It’s always been Leo Messi.

“Inter? It’s true, there’s a lot of talk about the Nerazzurri. The truth is that my agent is working on it, the interest of a team like Inter makes me very happy.

“It would be a dream to wear that shirt.

“I’m ready, I’d like to arrive in June, I feel ready to work hard every day to improve, and sign for Inter if God wills it.

“I guess I’d initially play in the youth teams, and from there I’d work to move up.

“My dream is to play on the Old Continent, I’d like to wear the Inter shirt and maybe one day also go to the Premier League.”

The Beneamata have Argentine connections, as Vice-President Javier Zanetti and captain Mauro Icardi are both from Cuello’s homeland.

“Javier was always a great player, I admired him on TV with Inter and the national team.

“Mauro seems incredible to me. In 2017, when I was training with the national team, I got to see his crazy abilities up close.

“It would be a dream to sign for Inter and play alongside him one day.”
