Lukaku will undergo a round of tests in the morning and if things go well then he could also take part in squad training, giving him a chance of joining the squad for the league clash with Salernitana.
The return of the pair will give Inzaghi a serious boost in attack at a crucial stage of the season, when the team are trying to shake off their poor domestic start.
