Crotone have confirmed Salvatore Molina has tested negative for COVID-19 and will undergo the required medical examination before returning to the group.
The 28-year-old has played five Serie A games this term, contributing one goal and one assist in the process, but the midfielder has missed the last two games after testing positive for coronavirus on October 30.
Crotone signed Molina on a free transfer from Atalanta in August 2018 and he has played 74 games for the Rossoblu, helping them to promotion from Serie B last term.

But the former Atalanta youth must wait for his 10th game in Serie A, as he’s not expected to have completed the medical examinations in time for the match against Lazio tomorrow.
“Crotone Football Club announce that the footballer Salvatore Molina tested negative for COVID-19 during the tests carried out on Thursday,” the club wrote in a statement.
“In the next few days, the player will be subjected to the usual medical sports examinations and subsequently he will face a gradual monitored recovery aimed at returning to the group.”
Molina could be back when Crotone face Bologna on November 29.
