Bryan Cristante did not travel with the Roma squad ahead of tomorrow’s key match against Inter, ruling him out of contention for the match.

The 27-year-old Italian midfielder has been a core player under Jose Mourinho this season, appearing in almost every Serie A game bar the two missed due to COVID and the one-match yellow card suspension. He plays a key role in the Giallorossi midfield, helping protect the backline.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Cristante has been ruled out of tomorrow’s Serie A clash against Inter due to physical problems, leaving him sidelined for an important game in Roma’s fight to hold onto 5th.

Jordan Veretout is likely to take over in his place, giving him an opportunity to prove his quality to Mourinho. The Frenchman has not started in his last five consecutive league appearances so he’ll be keen to show his best in a tough encounter against a Scudetto hungry Inter.
