The agent for Domenico Criscito and Sebastian Giovinco has hinted that the former may be open to Napoli, but the latter hasn’t asked to leave Juventus.

Zenit full-back Criscito is once more being linked with a return to Serie A this transfer window, with the Vesuviani reported as now prioritising talks over a possible move.

Whilst the player’s agent has indicated such negotiations are not necessarily advancing, he has encouraged continuing speculation.

“It is still early to talk about Criscito joining Napoli, because he has been told by Spalletti that he has some important characteristics,” began FIFA-accredited representative Andrea D’Amico to Sky Sport Italia this week.

“But, Mimmo is a player who has of course always liked Napoli, particularly their President De Laurentiis, who has always had exceptional human qualities.

“I agree with those who say that the team should be built first on human values. For now, though, the player is happy and well at Zenit. We shall see what happens over the next few days.”

D’Amico also represents Sebastian Giovinco, who has been speculated as potentially leaving Juventus this winter.

“He has never considered a departure from Juventus. His contract expires in 2015, so it is clear that if he does leave Juventus, it will be for a definitive destination.

Fiorentina perhaps? For now, they have not called me…”
