Valentino Lazaro’s agent insists it is ‘crazy’ to think the winger could already quit Inter and reveals Bayer Leverkusen’s Aleksandar Dragovic could join Atalanta.

Lazaro’s quiet start to life as an Inter player has prompted speculation that he could return to Hertha Berlin in January, just months after leaving the German side.

Lazaro’s quiet start to life as an Inter player has prompted speculation that he could return to Hertha Berlin in January, just months after leaving the German side.

However, Max Hagmayr told Calciomercato.com: “The first thing I want to say is that this is a false story.

“It’s so crazy that I also find it unpleasant to have to reply. That said, Valentino wants to prove himself. He’ll prove to be a worthy Inter player and he’ll help the team win the Scudetto.

“He’s adapting well. He’s found an apartment and he feels very good in the city. After that, everything will depend on his success in football.

“He’s always willing to learn and that’s what he's doing. It’s clear he needs to learn new concepts because in Italy, a different kind of football is played compared to how it’s played in Germany.

“It’s our objective to win the Scudetto with Inter. We chose Inter because of Antonio Conte and their project, to win the Scudetto.

“His goal for Austria was also very important for his confidence.”

Dragovic is another of Hagmayr’s clients, and the representative was asked about the centre-back.

“I’ve talked to him, he likes Serie A and who knows what could happen in January…”

Are Atalanta a potential destination?

“Yes.”
