Atalanta’s Champions League group stage opponents Ajax have reportedly registered 11 cases of COVID in the group team ahead of the their match against Midtjylland.

According to De Telegraaf, there could be up to 11 cases of Coronavirus in the Dutch team that drew 2-2 at Bergamo’s Gewiss Stadium last week.

Ajax have one point in the first two games of the group stage that includes the Italians, Real Madrid and Midtjylland.

According to De Telegraaf, there could be up to 11 cases of Coronavirus in the Dutch team that drew 2-2 at Bergamo’s Gewiss Stadium last week.

Ajax have one point in the first two games of the group stage that includes the Italians, Real Madrid and Midtjylland.

The Dutch paper reports the positive members of the team could be senior team players, youth team players and staff members.

The club have not revealed the identity of those who have tested positive for COVID but the likes of Dusan Tadic, Davy Klaassen, Andre Onana, Ryan Gravenberch and Mark Stekelenburg have not been included in the squad list to face Midtjylland tomorrow.

The players have undergone new swab tests today and, should they come back negative, the player would be eligible to play tomorrow.
