Eugenio Corini has urged his Chievo side to ‘fight until the end’ in their bid to stay in Serie A this season.

The Gialloblu are currently fourth from bottom with 21 points this term, but the Coach has asked his men to keep believing in salvation, starting this weekend at home to Genoa.

“We have difficulties, for sure,” he told a Press conference. “But I believe, with our quality, we can stay up.

“We know we’re going to have to suffer right until the end of the season, but we’re working hard and we’ll try our best.

“This club and these players will never give up. I didn’t give up as a player and I won’t as a Coach either.

“This team has enough quality to stay in the division, I’m positive about that.

“Genoa are a good team who are enjoying a good run at the moment. They’ve always been tough to beat, so we need to be vigorous and aggressive.”
