The Flying Donkeys find themselves in the thick of the relegation battle after recent poor results, whereas the Sardinians are already safe.
“This has been a fundamental week for us, because the game with Cagliari is decisive for our seasonal objectives,” said Coach Corini.
The squad has spent the last few days at a training retreat to best prepare for the showdown.
“It was a decision I made after the game with Torino. The team is in good shape, despite the results that we’ve been lacking in recent weeks.
“We are fired up with sporting rage, the kind we need to go and get this result. I told the lads to focus only on our match, because there are still three teams behind us and that means it’s all in our hands.”
