Eugenio Corini believes it was the right decision to move the match against Sassuolo to tomorrow as he backs a “maturing” and “confident” Brescia side.

Brescia come into the postponed clash in hot form, having won consecutive games since the return of their coach.

“It was the right decision to wait to play this match, let’s go and challenge a strong team,” Corini said at a press conference.

“We want to get out there, we are confident and we want to put in a great performance.

“From these last two wins I’ve seen real maturity. I see the squad solid mentally.

“I always tell the guys that we have to build on this, and I expect this will be further consolidated.”

The Rondinelle are currently 18th in Serie A but only two points away from safety with one game in hand.
