The Granata have lost 14 points from winning position so far this season, the worst record in the current Serie A campaign.
“We once again proved to be fragile, we’ll have to work on it. If we would not be mentally stable this would drive us crazy.
“There are situation that go beyond your means. There are mental aspects which we need to work on, we need to solve this because we want to do great things.”
Torino had to do without their captain Andrea Belotti who picked up an injury during the warm-up training with Simone Zaza who replaced him.
“I said on the eve of the game that Zaza was a serious candidate to start as he was training well. As for Belotti, he didn’t feel well yesterday, we preferred not to take any risk, Zaza did very well.”
Torino played with a three-man defence, quite a big change as Giampaolo usually plays with a four-man backline.
“Today’s game required some changes and we saw them during the game. This can be an option for the future, but we don’t deny what we’ve done so far.”
