The agent of Sebastian Giovinco is convinced that his client will still be a part of the Juventus squad next season.

The Italian international returned to Turin in the summer after spending the previous two campaigns at Parma.

Although Giovinco has featured heavily – he’s scored 11 goals in 40 games this term – he hasn’t totally convinced which has led to rumours that he could be used as a transfer pawn this summer.

“The idea that he could be offered to another club in a player plus cash deal is just a rumour,” Andrea D’Amico told Sport Italia.

“Giovinco was strongly wanted by boss Antonio Conte. Any decision made by the club will be made in agreement with the Coach.

“Offering him in exchange for another player would go against the wishes of Conte who wanted him and who considers him as an important element.”

It cost Juventus11m to sign Parma’s 50 per cent stake in Giovinco last summer.
