The tactician complained after the 1-0 friendly win over Albania on Tuesday that he would not get to see the players for another four months, as promised extra time for get-togethers between international games never materialised.
“The Nazionale forced some to reflect,” noted FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio today.
“We are grateful to Conte for what he has done and is currently doing. We are aware of his outburst and the good news is that next week we’ll open a round table discussion between Conte and the Lega Serie A to find solutions that take into account his needs.
“Admittedly, being away from the squad for four months since the last game is illogical.”
