Former Juventus and Inter coach Antonio Conte returned to Arezzo on Tuesday and posted some pictures from the Amaranto’s stadium: ‘It all started here.’
The Italian tactician received an award in the Tuscan town on Tuesday. Arezzo is where Conte started his coaching career in 2006, accepting a role as a head coach for the first time.
He was sacked at the end of October and replaced by Maurizio Sarri. On March 13, Conte was recalled by President Piero Mancini but failed to avoid relegation. Arezzo had started the 2006-07 Serie B campaign with a 6-point penalty as one of the clubs involved in the Calciopoli scandal.
Conte left Tottenham by mutual agreement this past March.
