FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio may look to schedule next year's Serie A for an early finish to give Antonio Conte more time ahead of the Euros.

The recent forced cancellation of the Italy training camps has prompted a return to speculation, with suggestions that the CT may be tempted to resign in the summer and a host of suitors ready.

The Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that Conte does not have the mindset to resign, but that in response to the climate, Italian Football Federation chief Tavecchio is expected to push through with a proposed rescheduling of Serie A's 2015-16 calendar.

Currently clubs are seen as leaning towards a May 22 end to next season, whereas Conte has previously requested a May 15 finale to give the Azzurri further preparation time ahead of Euro 2016.

According to the Gazzetta, Tavecchio will formally propose the season’s end as May 15 this Friday at a League Council summit, and also that the Coppa Italia Final that season is held before that mid-May date.
