Antonio Conte has reportedly told Lorenzo Insigne to keep listening to Napoli Coach Rafa Benitez if he wants to return to the Italy fold.
Insigne travelled with the Azzurri to this summer’s World Cup in Brazil, but hasn’t received the call for either of Conte’s first two squads.
However, Il Mattino reports that in his visit to Castel Volturno yesterday, Conte told Insigne the way to win back his place on a visit to Napoli’s training ground.
“Keep it up,” the newspaper reports Conte as saying. “Keep doing what Rafa says. You’ll see, your time will come.”
Insigne has made seven appearances in Serie A so far this term, contributing one goal and an assist. The 23-year-old has won six caps for his country, scoring in a friendly defeat to Argentina.
