The Bianconeri played out their first friendly of the 2012 pre-season schedule, against amateur outfit Aygreville and ran out 7-1 winners.
“It was a good workout, a simple exercise to find the scent of the game again,” reflected the Coach on Juventus Channel.
“We came into the game off the back of an intense and lively athletic morning, but this is part of the program.
“There were some good points, some bad points, but we must also take into account that there were many from the primavera and even some of the new signings will obviously take time to get the idea of playing to certain ideas.
“It will take time, but the important thing was that there was a willingness from all to work, to give their all.”
Lucio’s first touch as a Juventus player gifted the amateur side a shock opening goal. He was making his first appearance for the club, as too was Kwadwo Asamoah.
“Lucio arrived just two days ago, has taken this trip across the ocean, so he needs to fit in, pick up the pace, but there will be time and we’ll definitely be prepared.”
