Antonio Conte is almost certain to renew his contract as Coach of Italian giants and League leaders Juventus.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the tactician looks like he will sign a new deal until June 2015 – which will also see his salary rise to €3m a season.

Conte, who arrived in Turin from Serie B side Siena last summer, is only currently tied to the Turin giants until 2013.

However, before the Coach puts pen to paper, the former midfielder and club captain wants to discuss the outfit’s transfer plans ahead of 2012-13.

The tactician believes that his current squad is not competitive enough to fight for the title, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League next season.

Juventus are expected to bring in a new striker and whispers are suggesting that Liverpool’s Luis Suarez, Stevan Jovetic of Fiorentina and Mattia Destro of Siena are all on the Old Lady’s radar.
