Reports in Germany claim that Milan have agreed personal terms with Serdar Azmoun, but Italian sources insist there are no negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen.

The Rossoneri are known to be seeking a centre-forward to act as understudy to Olivier Giroud, as Lorenzo Colombo can then be allowed to go out on another loan move to Monza.

Bild and Sky Sports Deutschland both insist that Milan are showing a strong interest in Iran international Azmoun and have agreed personal terms with the player.

However, MilanNews.it maintain that while Azmoun had been on the list earlier in the summer, he is not a main target now and there are no talks in progress with Bayer Leverkusen.

The 28-year-old has also been linked with a return to Zenit St. Petersburg, where he already played from 2019 to January 2022.

Azmoun is also coming off an injury and that makes him less likely as a candidate for the Rossoneri.
